RTK.my
Your own RTK reference stations and a caster that turns them into centimetre corrections.
What RTK.my is
RTK.my connects people who run their own RTK stations (bases) with people who measure. A base sends corrections to our caster caster.rtk.my; we compute and verify the exact position of its antenna from its data stream, and rovers nearby can then use it. In the field you measure with the Změř.to app or any other NTRIP app.
Test phase: the caster is being tested and only invited users can connect.
How to connect a station
- A phone with a receiver: the RTK.my app for Android and a GNSS receiver on USB (e.g. ArduSimple simpleRTK3B with a Unicore UM980). Sign in with Google, create a base, and the app sets it up and sends the data encrypted.
- A WiFi NTRIP Master module (ESP32 XBee) with a receiver: the wizard in the RTK.my app sets it up for your caster and your Wi-Fi.
- Any other device that works as an NTRIP server: caster caster.rtk.my, port 2101 (plain) or 443 (TLS), with the mountpoint and base password from the app.
Verifying the base position
- We record the data stream of the base and every 15 minutes compute its position against an EUREF reference station with ČÚZK coordinates. Once a day we check it independently with PPP.
- A base is verified when two independent two-hour solutions agree within 2 cm (L1-only bases: a 24-hour solution against a reference within 30 km).
- The caster inserts the verified L1 phase-centre position into the corrections for rovers. If the antenna moves by more than 10 cm, it stops until the base is verified again.
- Others see a public base on the map only once it is verified; you see it at once.
- The antenna needs a clear view of the sky. A base behind a window usually does not pass.
